It is one in a lifetime experience that gives your little one the chance to celebrate their birthday in a fun, messy way which will create some cheeky and adorable shots that you will treasure forever.
Cake will be provided but if your child has any allergies or intolerances I can recommend getting in touch prior to your session or that you bring in your own cake.
A £65 deposit is required to book your session, and is deductible from your final order
What happens during the session?
The session starts with some regular portraits being taken off your little one, capturing their many expressions which is followed by the cake smash fun. After some candid shots, we move on to the fun and messy part….smashing the cake! And we complete the session with some splash shots in the tin bath where we clean off the cake, again in a fun way.
Tips for the parents
I recommend that you bring in some old trousers to wear for this part as everyone will be covered in cake and a towel to dry the little one after the bath. Also it's good to bring in some 'bribes' such as favourite biscuits, snacks as they might come handy (no chocolate as it leaves stains and will get all over their face).
Having a particular theme in mind?
I provide the cake smash outfits so you don’t have to worry about sourcing a special costume. I can cater for all preferences but I need to know of it in advance to allow me procuring everything in time for the session.
Are siblings/ parent shots included ?
Yes! I do encourage getting all family involved however I would need to know in advance in order to plan the session accordingly. Generally we take these shots at the start of the session before everyone gets covered in cake.
Due to space restriction, I can photograph no more than 5 members at a time.
What happens after the session?
After the session, I will upload the raw photos on a password protected gallery where you can pick your favourites. They will be individually edited (allow 1-4 weeks) and sent to you email address to be securely stored into your device. Back up is recommended to avoid loosing the photos.
